We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a state-operated hospital system across various Indiana locations. In this role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, managing pharmacy inventory, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance all while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of patient care.

• Prepare, fill, and deliver medications in accordance with physician orders and nursing requests
• Maintain inventory, manage orders, and process invoices
• Assist with pharmacy audits and ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations
• Restock medications in nursing units while ensuring security and accuracy
• Provide exceptional support to pharmacists, providers, and patients
• Perform administrative tasks to uphold regulatory standards and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED (required)
• Licensure: Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician registration and certification (required)
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
• Medication preparation and distribution
• Inventory management and prescription processing
• Electronic adjudication of claims and pharmacy audits
• Record-keeping for controlled substances
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Collaborative team player with attention to detail
