Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join a state-operated hospital in Indiana. In this role, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver high-quality care, implement treatment plans, and lead therapeutic activities. You'll play a vital part in supporting patients' recovery and fostering greater independence in daily life.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out and adjust treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Lead therapy sessions (individual and group) and assess patient progress
- Provide training to patients, families, and support staff
- Supervise non-professional personnel as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans

Requirements
Qualifications- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited OTA program
- Licensure: Valid Indiana OTA license and COTA certification
- Experience: Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with therapy documentation, EHR systems, and patient care protocols
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
