Our goal is to empower women and families to achieve self-sufficiency and break the cycle of homelessness.
HousingPlus, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to tackling the issue of homelessness and poverty among women and families. Founded in 2002, our mission is to provide permanent and transitional housing along with essential services to help individuals and families move from a state of homelessness to stability and independence.
We understand that homelessness is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach. That's why our model is centered around providing not just housing, but also a wide range of support services to address the various needs of our clients. From mental health counseling to job readiness training, we work with each individual to identify their strengths and needs, and develop a personalized plan for success.
Our team is made up of dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. We believe in the power of self-help and mutual support, and our programs are designed to foster a culture of individual responsibility and community support.
With eight locations in Brooklyn and Staten Island, we are able to reach a large number of women and families in need. Our safe and home-like settings provide a sense of stability and security for our clients, creating a supportive environment for them to work towards their goals.
Our ultimate goal is to empower women and families to achieve self-sufficiency and break the cycle of homelessness. We believe that every individual has the potential to succeed, and we are committed to providing them with the resources and support they need to do so.
At HousingPlus, Inc., we are constantly striving to improve and expand our services to meet the ever-growing demand for support among homeless women and families. Through our partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and government agencies, we are able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
