As a Senior CLS ? Immunology, you will be providing professional and technical skills to ensure accurate and timely performance of regular and specialized testing in clinical laboratory areas such as Hematology, Molecular, Microbiology, Auto Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Immunology, and Flow Cytometry.

What you'll be doing :

Independently performing and reporting test results for all clinical laboratory procedures, both automated and manual.

Acting as a General Supervisor in the lab, overseeing competency assessments of lab staff.

Maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and preparing reagents required for testing.

Notifying supervisory team of any irregularities that may influence test results.

Participating in the introduction of assay improvements, new assay configurations, and validation.

Ensuring compliance with all local, federal, CLIA, and CAP regulations.

Verifying QC and releasing lab results for reporting to investigator sites.

Leading continuous process improvement initiatives for laboratory operations.

What we are looking for :

Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist or ASCP licensed Scientist

2 years of relevant lab or clinical trials experience.

Electrophoresis experience preferred

Knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in job area.

Working knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP), CLIA, and other regulatory requirements.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on the assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Expertise with pipetting and other general molecular biology laboratory techniques.

Proficiency with laboratory calculations regarding batches and specimens.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $77,700.00 - $129,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
