Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate


to join IQVIA Laboratories at


Valencia, CA .

You will be responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt of clinical specimens.


What You'll be Doing:


Assist with the receipt of consignments and shipments.


Open shipments and quality check patient info forms, escalating issues to senior staff.


Dispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies correctly.


Ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging by conducting secondary checks.


Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other critical functions.


Assist in maintenance of equipment and supply inventory functions.


Perform various administrative duties as required.


Organize the work area as requested by management.


What we are looking for:


High School Diploma or equivalent.


Basic computer skills.


Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.


Or other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.


The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:


Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.


Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.


Strong attention to detail.


Effective communication skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
