Manager, Medical Laboratory

As a Manager, Medical Laboratory, you will lead a team of laboratory staff, ensuring the effective administration of laboratory testing in compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll be doing:

Managing daily laboratory operations and staff.

Providing technical leadership and troubleshooting complex issues.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Participating in budget planning and cost-saving initiatives.

Driving continuous improvement and quality assurance efforts.

Counseling, training, and coaching laboratory staff.

Developing and implementing standard operating procedures.

Monitoring and analyzing operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

>5 years of experience in a regulated environment.

>4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory.

>2 years of line management experience.

Or other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:

Strong understanding of laboratory operations and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to analyze complex data and drive continuous improvement.

Knowledge of occupational safety, health rules, and regulations.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $102,000.00 - $170,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
