Pre-Analytical Services Associate

to join IQVIA Laboratories at our

Valencia, CA

location.

The Specimen Management Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of clinical specimens.

What

You'll

be

Doing:

Assist with the receipt of consignments and shipments.

Open shipments and perform quality checks on patient info forms.

Ensure correct disposal or recycling of kit shipping supplies.

Conduct secondary checks to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.

Ship specimens for long-term storage or client disposition.

Support and respond to after-hour alarms and critical functions.

Assist in equipment maintenance and supply inventory functions.

Perform general clean-up of workstations.

What

looking

for:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
