GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Come and join the Wyoming Department of Corrections! The Wyoming State Penitentiary is seeking a Boiler Technician who maintains, operates, installs, and repairs multiple hydronic and steam systems. They will be responsible for ensuring all the boiler systems at the Wyoming State Penitentiary are functioning correctly and will be the point of contact for the five prison facilities to assist with boiler/HVAC issues and tasks. This position will supervise the HVAC & plumbing staff at the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable workplace, including participation in initiatives designed to promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to those with 5+ years of progressive work experience in the HVAC field with the specific knowledge and experience of working on boiler systems and prior supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Management)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in HVAC) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior HVAC Specialist
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
EPA License
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in HVAC) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior HVAC Specialist
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
EPA License
