We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team. Responsibilities- Lead and manage the engineering department, overseeing all engineering activities and projects.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies and best practices that align with company goals.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Review and approve engineering designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to engineering staff.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the engineering department and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in the construction industry with knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in engineering software and tools; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
