Transformation Consulting Architect

Salary: 175-210K (depending on experience)

Secret clearance or higher is required

We are seeking two experienced Secret-cleared Transformation Consulting Architectsone based on the East Coast and one on the West Coastto play a key role in our largest enterprise and global projects. This is a fully remote role with a strong focus on guiding customers through complex IT transformations, aligning technical solutions to strategic business outcomes, and driving successful project execution.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, guiding them through IT transformations and aligning IT strategies with business goals.
• Lead project teams in executing VMware's largest enterprise implementations, ensuring solutions deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Define and develop transition plans, architectures, and technology roadmaps to support customer objectives.
• Provide technical oversight, accountability, and governance for project deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with C-level and VP executives, influencing IT decisions and long-term digital strategies.
• Collaborate closely with VMware sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to build transformational roadmaps and drive solution adoption.
• Promote best practices in multi-/hybrid-cloud architectures, modern application development (CI/CD), and IT management.
• Contribute thought leadership to the VMware community, shaping new service offerings and enabling VMware delivery teams.

• Remote with some travel (50% at times but probably much less) Two positions available: One based on the East Coast and one on the West Coast of the USA.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in sales consultancy and VMware technical architecture design.

• Proven expertise in leading large-scale IT transformation projects with enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures, IT infrastructure, and security best practices.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience influencing executive decision-making and driving adoption of VMware solutions.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• CompTIA Security+
• Must have an active Secret clearance (we can also hold a higher-level clearance)
