The Swine Finishing Service Personnel is a support person for the farm manager. Technical assistance for the maximum efficient production of pigs, he/she is an advisor from issues of herd health to personnel management.

Requirements

• All applicants will be required to submit to a criminal records search and a pre-employment drug screen. The employee will be required to follow all company policies and safety rules.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must live near Duplin County where you will be servicing farms.
• This job requires some night and weekend work.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Visit finishing sites weekly.
• Ensure maximum productivity of each finishing unit.
• Will serve as the liaison between Prestage Farms and the Contract Grower of each finishing site.
• Responsible for checking each site for health, mortality, managing schedules for hogs coming in and going out.
