Feed Mill Utility Worker

The Primary objective of a utility worker includes the general housekeeping of the feed mill and the surrounding area according to air and water quality standards. Requirements

• Must have good communication skills
• Adaptable to change
• Ability to do hard physical labor
• Ability to follow instructions

• Oversee basic cleaning which includes sweeping, pressure washing and trash pickup of the feed mill area

• Will cross-trained in all feed mill operations as follow:

• direct trucks on loading/unloading procedures
• collects and examines samples to determine acceptable quality
• extracts samples for analysis and certification of moisture and protein content
• charts contents and location of storage bin inventory
• receiving, batching and pelleting
• other duties may be assigned from manager

• This is a full-time day position, but covering the night shift occasionally may be required
• Some weekend work will be required with overtime pay

• Ability to walk

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Ability to see and distinguish colors
• Ability to hear
