Hog Loader Supervisor

Prestage Farms is looking for a Hog Loader Supervisor to assist and supervise in the loading of hogs for market by performing the following duties, among others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the loading of market swine
• Open gates and move marked swine to the truck driver and holding area according to instructions
• Adjust loading ramp and assist truck driver when backing his or her vehicle
• Supervise the clean up of truck, cutting boards, boots, etc
• Responsible for the accountability of daily paperwork

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License Class C and have a satisfactory MVR (motor vehicle record)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• The ability to speak effectively before groups of growers, visitors, or employees of our organization would be helpful
• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
