Stockroom

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the picking of material for production orders and transporting materials into stockroom and into production departments.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify system inventory accuracy.
• Logging incoming/outgoing materials into the computer system
• Examines stock to verify conformance to proper identification and quantity
• Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as version, size, or type of material and consolidate items in locations where possible.
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock and verify proper labeling
• Manage storage and organization of cardboard containers.
• Distributes stock among production workers, keeping accurate records of material movements.
• Perform cycle counts and submit adjustments for review.
• Transports material or supplies to other departments.

We have two shifts available!

1st shift: 6:00 am -2:30 pm M-F

2nd shift: 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm M-F (must be willing to train split shift for a few weeks)

Pay: $17 (or higher based on experience)

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Inventory experience required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Warehouse experience
• Availability to work overtime when needed
• Math Skills
• Experience with/ ability to learn ERP system.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the shift.
• Minimum of High school diploma or GED
