Crate Builder

Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Crate Builder to join our team in the manufacturing sector. As a Crate Builder, you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates to package products for shipping and storage. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow specifications, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut wood material according to specifications
• Assemble wooden crates using hand tools and power tools
• Inspect finished crates for quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

1st Shift: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM M-F

Pay Rate: This position is for 1st shift with a competitive pay rate based on experience. $19-21

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in crate building or woodworking is preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
