Job Description
Parallel Employment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Machinist to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong solid background in CNC machine maintenance, with a particular focus on shapers, lathes, hoist, hobs, grinders, and machine centers. Experience and knowledge of a journeyman's certification and/or education.
1st shift: 7:00 AM -3:00 PM, M-F
Job Type: Direct Hire
Job Location: Racine, WI
Pay: $24.98/ hr
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience journeyman, journeyman card, certification, or education.
- 3-5 solid years of experience with preventative maintenance and repair of NC/CNC machines to include shapers, lathes, hoist, hobs, grinders, and machine centers.
- Proficient NC/CNC controls.
- Strong knowledge in hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics
- Rigging experience.
- Able to troubleshoot, fabricate, weld and repair various machinery parts.
- Basic knowledge of scraping and alignment to manufacturing specifications.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to wear required safety equipment and adhere to safety standards
- Dependable transportation is a must
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
