Set up Punch Press Operator

Parallel Employment Group is seeking a skilled Set Up Punch Press Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Setting up and adjusting punch presses based on job specifications and production requirements.
• Monitoring production runs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Making adjustments to machinery to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

1st shift: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM, M-F

Pay: $19-20/ HR Based on experience

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Punch Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and safety standards.
• Manual Punch Press or equivalent experience preferred
• Automatic Coil experience preferred
• Setup for progressive and compound dies preferred
• 3 yrs manufacturing/machining experience REQUIRED
• Basic shop math skills REQUIRED
• Solid strong work history
