Develops and implements strategic plans to establish the Center as a nationally recognized leader in health law and policy. Responsible for advancing the Center?s mission through strategic fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation and grant development, as well as planning and executing academic and public events. Oversees all Center communications, marketing, outreach, and supports student engagement through recruitment, career development, and academic advising. Fosters interdisciplinary collaboration by building partnerships within Cleveland State University (CSU) and with external institutions and policy organizations. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree and license to practice law in Ohio.
- Two (2) years of legal experience in health-law or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in administration, fundraising, marketing, and/or communications.
- Experience in grant-writing or other fundraising activities.
- Experience with an academic research center.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of health-law.
- Ability to operate with a high level of energy performing simultaneous multifaceted projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
