Job Description
seeking a highly-skilled Safety Contractor to support our County client's Division of Risk Management. This role will assist the County's Safety Manager in reviewing and improving safety processes and policies, developing strategic plans for occupational health and safety, and coaching employees in effective problem-solving and conflict resolution. This position plays a critical role in shaping the County's Safety and Occupational Health Program for the next five (5) years.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in safety program development and occupational health planning
- Experience in training development and delivery, particularly in safety and compliance contexts
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for coaching and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and County departments
