Job Description

Website Product Manager who will lead the strategic direction, design execution, and continuous improvement of the Client's public-facing website in Rockville, Maryland.

As the Client embarks on a comprehensive website redesign in partnership with a third-party vendor, this role will act as the internal Product Ownerensuring the new digital experience reflects the Client's values of accessibility, transparency, and resident-focused service. This position will blend product strategy, user-centered design, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor coordination to deliver a modern, accessible, and engaging online platform for the community.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Public Administration, UX Design, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a digital/web environment.
Strong understanding of web usability, UX/UI design, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG and Section 508).
Experience working with CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, or Sitecore.
Skilled in stakeholder facilitation, project coordination, and vendor management.
Experience leading website redesigns or digital product launches.
Familiarity with agile workflows and translating user needs into development tasks.
Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar.
Experience with content governance, change management, and team training.
