ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Junior Product Manager, you'll work closely with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate requirements into actionable user stories. As a vital member of our agile Product team, you'll help deliver high-quality internal products that align with our organizational goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product and Requirement Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements.
  • Create clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage changes to requirements effectively, ensuring all updates are reflected in the backlog.

Collaboration and Execution

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and scrum ceremonies to support the agile development process.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of sprints.

User Experience and Quality Assurance

  • Work with UX and design teams to ensure the product delivers an intuitive and engaging user experience.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams to validate product functionality and ensure it meets expectations.

Requirements

Analytical and Technical Aptitude

  • Foundational understanding of product management principles, software development processes, and UX design.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends, solve problems, and support decision-making.
  • Basic knowledge of web, mobile, and API technologies to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Strong Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive communication style to ensure alignment across teams.

Agile Methodologies Knowledge

  • Familiarity with agile principles and practices, including experience with iterative development processes.
  • Understanding of scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Experience with backlog management and prioritization is a strong advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, internship, or related position.
