Job Description
- 3-5 years working as a litigation paralegal in a law firm environment, preferably in health and medicine/medical malpractice
- Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Supporting attorneys at trial and preparation of a variety of trial-related documents
- Handle Medical Records requests and track responses from healthcare providers
- Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and experts
- Effectively manage scheduling, calendars, deadlines, and discovery
- Motivated self starter with an ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new programs and program updates
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to follow client confidentiality guidelines
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, service focused environment
- Ability to manage assignments through completion with a high level of organization
