Driver

The Driver performs a broad range of security and driving dutiesincluding picking up passengers, keeping passengers safe, adapting driving to traffic conditions, reporting vehicle mechanical problems, and keeping the vehicle clean and in good working condition. The Driver position always provides security detail, as needed. Essential qualifications include safe driving skills, customer service orientation, good communication and interpersonal abilities, and time management. Holding a valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive Principals to various destinations upon request, with knowledge of various cities and efficient routes (including weekends and evenings)
• Maintain a clean and safe transportation environment for all passengers
• Provide added security to the family in all transportation situations.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of safety and security with the ability to deal peacefully with unforeseen circumstances or delays while using advanced driving techniques to better improve time management and safety
• Perform vehicle maintenance such as refueling, oil changing, and other minor tasks; Assure that the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition and is cleaned regularly
• Apply In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Ensure prompt servicing of vehicles and approve vehicle maintenance
• Perform daily pre-and post-trip company vehicle inspections
• Maintain family's vehicle cleanliness regularly
• Security-related projects as assigned to meet the needs of the Estate at large
• Perform diverse administrative tasks related to scheduling travel appointments for executive
• Coordinate with the principal's administrative staff on all scheduling; track travel and maintenance expense reports
• Handle all luggage, bags, and office essentials
• Neat and smart appearance, friendly, service-oriented individual with a desire to exceed expectations
• Significant travel requiredup to 80%, 4 days a week or more.

Requirements

• Valid California Drivers license and clean driving record
• Minimum five years in a related role
• Prior law enforcement, security, or personal protection experience preferred
• Highest level of personal service experience with private families and/or individuals
• Understand and commit to the highest levels of confidentiality and privacy
• Creative and intuitive thinking and problem-solving
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving, modeling, and communicating effectively with clients, customers, coworkers, and management
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Ability to stand for 2+ hours at a time
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
