Job Description

BakerHostetler is seeking a senior-level tax credit finance associate or counsel (7+ years of law firm experience) to join its nationally recognized Tax Credit Finance team.

Qualifications Include:
7+ years of relevant law firm experience focused on historic tax credits and new markets tax credit. Experience with renewable energy tax credits is beneficial but not required
Ability to handle all facets of a tax credit transaction from leading or assisting on initial structuring to reviewing financial projections and negotiating business and legal issues
Work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various tax equity and loan documents and opinions and conducting necessary due diligence, as well as overall project management
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school
Location:
This position may be located in Denver, CO.
Salary:
The expected annual salary range for this position is $260,000 - $280,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program. BakerHostetler offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including group health, dental and vision insurance, vacation (20 days), paid holidays (10 days), 401(k) plan, parental leave (10 weeks, not including disability, where applicable, and accrued vacation), family care program, wellness program, life and accident insurance, and short and long-term disability.
