Symmetrio is recruiting for its client, a leading provider of cutting-edge healthcare capital equipment and software solutions, to fill the role of Area Account Director. This is a high-impact sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth by selling high-dollar capital equipment and software solutions to hospitals, IDNs, and healthcare systems within the territories of Denver, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix .
We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a demonstrated history of success in healthcare sales, excelling at building and nurturing strong relationships with healthcare executives and key stakeholders. This role offers a competitive OTE of $260,000 and requires approximately 35% travel.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals and expand market share across the assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, clinical decision-makers, and procurement teams at hospitals and health systems.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and targeted outreach.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features, benefits, and ROI of healthcare capital equipment and software solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed of healthcare trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and position the company as a market leader.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory performance reports to leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record of success in selling high-dollar capital equipment and software solutions.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned territory (up to 40%).
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
