We are seeking a highly skilled real estate manager to effectively manage our property and its finances. Your role will involve negotiating rental agreements, purchasing supplies, and supervising staff members and groundskeepers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the purchase, sale, rental, or development of properties
  • Tracking income and expenses for the property and collecting payments
  • Determining rental prices and negotiating lease agreements
  • Approving maintenance, repairs, and purchases for the property
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Overseeing maintenance workers, cleaning crews, contractors, and groundskeepers
  • Keeping property owners informed about taxes, occupancy rates, and lease expiration dates
  • Resolving complaints from residents and tenants
  • Preparing financial statements and records
  • Reporting regularly to property owners and investors

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or project management
  • At least two years of experience in project management, real estate, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in managing property purchases, sales, rentals, and development
  • Proficiency in real estate management software, such as Buildium and AppFolio
  • Experience in managing payments, negotiating contracts, and determining rental rates
  • Thorough understanding of property law, taxes, and financial statements
  • Knowledge of property maintenance and finding vendors and suppliers
