We are looking for a dependable maintenance technician to join our team. Your main job will be to make sure our building stays in good shape and works properly. You will do this by checking things, scheduling repairs, keeping track of supplies, and making plans to prevent problems.
We want someone who knows a little bit about everything, like how to do maintenance, work with machines, and use basic tools. To do well in this job, you should be good at solving problems and be able to communicate and organize things well.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Check the building, machines, and systems to find any problems.
- Fix broken machines and damaged parts of the building.
- Create plans to prevent problems and do regular maintenance.
- Take care of the heating and plumbing to make sure they work.
- Schedule repairs for things that need to be fixed.
- Do quality checks to make sure everything is working properly.
- Do general maintenance tasks like gardening, painting, and fixing things.
- Help make a budget for the maintenance department.
- Keep track of the supplies we need for maintenance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Finished high school or have an equivalent education.
- Have a certificate in HVAC, building maintenance, or a related field (this is a plus).
- At least 2 years of experience doing a similar job.
- Know a lot about electricity and how hydraulic systems work.
- Understand how to do general maintenance tasks.
- Able to work physically and have a flexible schedule (including weekends and evenings).
- Good at solving problems.
- Can communicate well in writing and speaking.
- Well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
