Job Description

We are hiring a maintenance assistant who is responsible and dependable to help maintain our facilities and keep them clean. This includes taking out the trash and recycling, overseeing the work of outside workers, attending training and safety programs, and going to staff meetings. You should also be able to report any repairs or cleaning that needs to be done accurately.

To do well as a maintenance assistant, you should be a hard worker, have good hand-eye coordination, and be able to lift heavy things. You should also know how to safely use hand and power tools and be a good problem solver and manager of your time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fixing small things like doors, locks, light bulbs, and windows.
  • Doing basic plumbing tasks like unclogging drains and fixing leaks.
  • Keeping things clean by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Maintaining the outdoor areas by mowing, trimming, and shoveling snow.
