Job Description

Position Overview:

We're Hiring: CRE Transactional Attorney

Hours: Full Time, Monday- Thursday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location: Great Neck, NY

Compensation: $200,000 +

Summary:

As a CRE Transactional Attorney, you will provide essential transactional support, with a primary focus on commercial real estate debt and equity transactions. You'll bring your deep understanding of real estate law and proven track record in managing complex deals to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and facilitate seamless, high-value transactions.

What you will be doing:

Provide legal support for commercial real estate debt and equity transactions.
Review and analyze structured product deal documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams to efficiently manage transactions.
Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to business expansion and deal structuring.
Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance, and Product Management teams.
Assist with various legal projects supporting the broader objectives of the legal group.
Engage with service providers and external legal counsel to ensure smooth execution.

What you will need:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or similar legal environment.
Strong background in commercial real estate and/or investment management.
Proven experience with joint venture negotiations, loan originations, acquisitions/dispositions, and real estate-related compliance.
Familiarity with private equity and registered fund structures is a plus.
