Associate Attorney

L?Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini, LLP (LBC&C) is seeking both an associate as well as an experienced attorney for our Melville, New York office. Founded in 1981, LBC&C has established itself as a prominent insurance defense law firm with a proven track record of successfully defending legal, accounting, business and design professionals. Responsibilities: Handle litigation matters from the inception of the case through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and motion practice. Qualifications for all attorney positions: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Member in good standing with the New York Bar. Excellent writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications for associate: Minimum 3 - 5 years of litigation experience. Qualifications for experienced attorney: Minimum 10 - 15 years of litigation experience. Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
