Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, tailored to the individual's specific needs.
• Support clients in developing and maintaining life skills.
• Encourage participation in recreational and community activities to enhance socialization and a sense of belonging.
• Monitor health and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the supervising staff.
• Assist with medication management according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters independence and empowerment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals with Autism and other special needs.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or training in special needs care (preferred).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience working with special needs individuals is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide physical assistance when needed.
• Must have legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
