We are seeking an analytical and organized Procurement Manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies
Manage daily purchasing activities and assign tasks
Oversee supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices and timelines
Maintain the supplier database, purchasing records and related documentation
Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs
Ensure that all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications
Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets
Work to continuously improve purchasing systems and processes
Train new employees in purchasing processes and how to use the purchasing system
Requirements
Who YOU Are
An excellent communicator with high-level written and verbal skills
A critical thinker and strong negotiator
Have exceptional planning and organizational skills
Able and comfortable with working independently
Qualifications
Degree in accounting, business administration or a related field
Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
Experience with Sage Software is a plus
