About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Associate with over 10 years of experience in commercial litigation and insurance coverage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of managing multifaceted cases, from inception through resolution, and providing strategic counsel to a diverse range of clients. A key aspect of this role will involve drafting sophisticated opinion letters, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a comprehensive grasp of legal precedents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters, including all phases of discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Provide expert legal analysis and strategic advice on a wide array of insurance coverage issues.
• Draft comprehensive and well-reasoned opinion letters on complex legal questions related to insurance coverage and commercial disputes.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client advice.
• Collaborate effectively with partners, other associates, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior associates, contributing to the firm?s collegial and supportive environment.
• Participate in business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing Bar admission in New Jersey is required.
• 10+ years of experience specifically in commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting clear, concise, and persuasive opinion letters.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professional integrity and a commitment to client service.

Target salary range:

Salary range:: $166,000 - $210,000

Salary commensurate with experience $210,000. The salary range does not guarantee, obligate, nor set expectations of an applicant?s salary in the event of hire. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate?s years of experience, qualifications and qualifications.
