Semi Driver - Class A CDL

This role's responsibilities are all focused on one thing: Customer Satisfaction. As a Semi Driver for Sunstate, you will be loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment at customer sites throughout your area's metro. This role also consists of instructing customers on safe and proper use of all equipment, completing required paperwork, and following all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocols.

Requirements

• You must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card
• You are capable of operating a Semi truck and landoll trailer to deliver equipment to customer job sites locally.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver with heavy equipment hauling experience preferred.
• Must physical agility to load & unload equipment on customer job sites, as well instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment.
• Be able to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally. Bi-lingual? That's a plus!
• Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.
• Must possess a good driving record and be able to maintain your safe driving record.
• Know your metro! Must be knowledgeable of the geographical layout of the area and be able to read maps to get you from point A to B.
• Must be able to commute to the Nashville Branch, where this position will be based.
