Katten Katten seeks a highly qualified Associate Associate to join its Affordable Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Practice Group in the Washington, DC Washington, DC office.
The
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate at a nationally recognized law firm or applicable experience with multifamily and/or commercial real estate lenders, agency financing programs (FHA, Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae), developers and/or property owners. The ideal candidate will have experience in financing affordable multifamily real estate deals with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae and comfort with drafting transactional documents. Experience in affordable housing development, tax-exempt bond financing, low-income housing tax credits, agency financing programs (FHA, Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae), and HUD subsidy programs is a plus.
Excellent
Excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills, and a client-team focused approach is a must. Candidates should be admitted to the DC bar or immediately eligible to waive into the DC bar.
The estimated salary range for this role is $225,000 - $420,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
