Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and prevent mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role requires expertise in psychopharmacology and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Current state medical license.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Experience: Completion of residency in Psychiatry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnostics, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy modalities.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, empathy, and ability to communicate effectively with patients and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose disorders using DSM-5 criteria and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting dosages as needed.
• Provide psychotherapy sessions for patients when clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers for integrated care.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and update treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
