Qualifications:

• Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Current RN license in New Mexico.
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active DEA registration for prescribing medications.
• Experience: Clinical experience in psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapy.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in psychopharmacology, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention.
• Soft Skills: Strong empathy, active listening, and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with precision.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare teams for holistic care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services.
