We're looking for a dynamic and results-oriented National Sales Head to spearhead sales operations across the country for our dairy business. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in the dairy or FMCG sector, a proven track record in scaling sales, and the leadership capability to build and manage high-performing teams across regions. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and establishing strong relationships with key partners.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a robust national sales strategy aligned with revenue and market share objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, consumer behavior patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Define annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets; monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales leaders and their teams.
- Build scalable team structures and instill a performance-driven culture.
3. Sales Execution & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Oversee end-to-end sales operations across geographies.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment and timely product delivery.
- Develop and manage strong distribution and retail networks nationwide.
4. Key Account Management
- Foster long-term relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic clients.
- Lead negotiations and drive closures of high-value deals.
- Champion a customer-centric approach to improve retention and satisfaction.
5. Budgeting & Performance Reporting
- Manage and optimize national sales budgets and resource allocation.
- Track performance metrics and deliver regular insights to senior leadership.
- Recommend process and program improvements based on performance data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the dairy or FMCG industry.
