Job Description
This position requires a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in healthcare law, with a proven track record in handling a wide range of industry-specific legal matters. Responsibilities: Provide counsel on fraud and abuse, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Serve as lead attorney on health care mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiation of transaction documents. Manage reimbursement matters, including billing audit and reimbursement dispute work. Examine and negotiate managed care contracts. Address medical staff issues, providing guidance and support, as needed. Navigate state and federal regulatory matters for healthcare providers, including professional licensing board matters and compliance investigations. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in healthcare law. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.
