Job Description

Holland & Knight seeks a mid-level associate to join its leading energy team. Holland & Knight is the go-to team in Washington when it comes to helping clients obtain government-backed loans for energy-related projects from programs such as the Department of Energy Loan Program office. The team?s unparalleled track record and best-in-class clients make this a unique opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project finance, including ?plain vanilla? project financings, tax equity bridge loans, backleverage financings or pre-NTP financings. Both Lender- and Borrower-side experience acceptable. Candidate should be familiar with drafting credit facilities, depositary accounts agreements, letters of credit and performance and payments bond. Candidate should also be familiar with balance of plant agreements, supply agreements (i.e., transformer supply agreements, module supply agreements, BESS supply agreements, turbine supply agreements and inverter supply agreements) and offtake and tolling agreements. Candidate should have experience drafting due diligence reports and preparing bankability analysis on project documents.

Excellent academic credentials are required and large regional, national, or international law firm experience is preferred. Holland & Knight possesses a collegial atmosphere and provides its professionals with a large platform with tangible opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in project finance (lender or borrower side).
Experience with the DOE Loan Programs Office, USDA 9003 Program, or the EXIM Make More in America Program is preferred but not required.

Strong academic credentials.

This position may be filled in Washington, DC. In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in this location is $260,000 ? 365,000/yr. An individual?s actual compensation will depend on the individual?s qualifications and experience.
