Berliner Cohen has immediate openings in our is seeking an experienced mid-level employment law attorney with 5+ years of experience to join the growing Employment Department for a Lateral Attorney with a minimum of 5-7 years of labor law and employment litigation experience, no book of business required, but is beneficial. They must have taken depositions, handled hearings, and been lead counsel on a case. In addition they applicant will have counseled clients on all aspects of wage and hour laws, as well as, litigated wage and hour cases, class action cases, as well as employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in California state and federal courts, responded to administrative charges, and be familiar with wage laws, leave, leave and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA wage and Ca Labor Codes), hour), policy development, compliance training and managing pre-litigation disputes.
