Job Description
The Orange County office of JMBM is seeking an associate with 4+ 4 or more years of broad-based litigation experience to join our Litigation Department. Candidates should have excellent research, analytical and drafting skills, consistent attention to detail, and strong verbal and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial. Candidates should also have specific litigation experience on commercial litigation issues, including breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, and/or breach of fiduciary duty. A strong academic record and admission to the California Bar are required. Large law firm experience is useful. The actual JMBM reasonably expects to pay between $250k and $275k in annual base pay compensation for this position. The base compensation offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including, including but not limited to to, the selected candidate?s qualifications, qualifications and years of relevant experience, and experience in the legal industry. As of the date of posting, JMBM experience. Additionally, associates who meet JMBM?s minimum performance standards (including billing at least 1900 hours), can reasonably expects expect total compensation (base salary plus a discretionary bonus) ranging from $385k to pay between $230K $425k. The discretionary bonus may also be increased based on the number of hours billed and $270K for this position. Qualified candidates should submit collected in excess of 1900 hours.
