Position Overview:
The HR Assistant at Datamark, Inc. is an essential member of the Human Resources team, providing support in various HR functions including recruitment, on-boarding, employee records management, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively assist with HR tasks and enhance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Manage new hire on-boarding processes and documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support benefits administration tasks, including explaining benefit plans to employees and assisting with claims.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Help in the preparation of reports related to HR metrics and initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role or administrative position.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Qualifications: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion; positive attitude and willingness to learn.
