The Export Clerk plays a crucial role in facilitating the efficient movement of goods from our facility to international markets. This position will involve the management of the documentation, logistics, and internal communication associated with exporting products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining effective coordination between various departments and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Export Documentation
Prepare and manage all required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and bills of lading as country by country and customer requirement dictate.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to comply with international regulations and FSIS requirements.
Logistics Coordination
Track and monitor daily/weekly shipments to ensure timely documentation needs and resolution of details and help coordinate the scheduling of the expectations from staging to presentation to the FSIS inspectors, preapprovals and document distribution.
Compliance
Stay updated on export library and FSIS procedures to ensure adherence during the export process.
Complete and submit customs declarations and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
