Commercial Trucking Insurance Agent

Job Description

As a Commercial Trucking Insurance agent, you will emphasis on handling inbound insurance inquiries and outbound prospecting clients (cold calling). You will be tasked with providing prospective insurers with coverage options after learning about their operations and insurance needs. It will be your responsibility to manage the prospect from initial contact and throughout the process of writing a policy and servicing the policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible to manage customer and company inquiries.
• Effectively resolve problems.
• Document customer requests.
• Service new and existing policies.
• Responsible for giving customers quotes that will meet their insurance needs.
• Must set appointments and get customers interested in purchasing our products.
• Understand and resolve customer problems. Escalate situations to upper management or customer service when needed.
• Must review and process documentation for daily sales before submitting to Underwriting for review.
• Meet personal production goals

Pay range: $20-$25 plus commission

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Experience with resolving customer inquiries and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• License: Property and Casualty
