Job Description

Briefing / Research and Writing Attorney Hilliard Law, a national trial firm focused on personal injury and civil justice cases, is seeking a full-time research and writing attorney with three plus years of experience in civil litigation. We are looking for someone to fill a position that primarily involves legal research, writing, and litigation support. Judicial clerkship experience in appellate or federal court is strongly preferred. All applications must be accompanied by a resume and writing sample (10 pages maximum). Preferred writing sample is a motion or a motion response that has been filed with a court. Requirements: Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Experience drafting and arguing contested legal motions. Interest and willingness to focus on research of complicated legal issues. Law Review experience is preferred. Mock trial or Moot Court experience is helpful, but not required. Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
