Automotive Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicles, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Infotainment and Connectivity Hardware team supporting the development of cutting-edge human-machine interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

$75.00 - 82.00 Hourly + Benefits

What's the Job?

You will specify electrical component and system requirements and lead engineering discussions and development with suppliers.

You will coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet critical vehicle milestones.

You will collaborate with hardware design teams, firmware and software teams, and system operators to iterate on existing designs and develop future solutions.

You will conduct root cause analysis during the development, validation, build, and deployment phases for issue resolution.

You will support the development and execution of system and component-level validation test plans.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).

6-8 years of experience in electrical component/system design and troubleshooting.

Experience taking a part or assembly from concept through production, working with external suppliers, and managing deliverables for multiple projects.

Automotive (CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, and other automotive networks), aerospace, or safety-critical industry experience.

Experience with electrical and EMI/C testing.
