Associate Financial Reporting Accountant

Our partner is seeking an Associate Financial Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic accounting team. This role involves preparing accurate financial reports, supporting management decision-making, and collaborating with a high-performing team. • Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Create financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making, including explaining material variances.
• Maintain accurate financial records using enterprise systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with auditor requests.
• Lead or assist with ad hoc financial reporting and research projects.
• Stay current with accounting standards by preparing memos and white papers for management updates.
• Conduct trend analyses and research regulations to support financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
• Up to two years of experience or equivalent education/training.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and theories, with the ability to apply them effectively.

• Progress toward CPA certification and/or MBA.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience using Workday Financials.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $28.98 - $35.79 Per Hour
