Associate Attorney

As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain immediate hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, contract and business disputes, premises liability, personal injury claims and more. From inception to resolution, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with experienced partners and have the opportunity to take on challenging cases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members.
• Broad litigation experience including drafting, arguing, and defending motions; taking and defending depositions; trial experience a plus.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• NOTE This position is fully remote (work from home), however the candidate must reside within one hour from Sacramento to attend depositions and court appearances in person as needed.

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 (DOE)
