CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Regional Counsel to join our Legal Department in our Albany office.
At CHA, the Assistant Regional Counsel supports the Assistant General Counsel on all legal matters including contract review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and claims management, negotiation of disputes with contractors and subcontractors, and employment law issues, and provides support on all day-to-day risk management in the geographic region.
The Assistant Regional Counsel plays a key role in ensuring compliance with the company's business code of conduct. This individual will be responsible for the business and professional company registrations, legal disclosure forms, and certifications required to operate the business.
- Juris Doctor, admitted and in good standing to practice law in any state in the United States
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the practice of law
- Demonstrated judgment and exercise of discretion including confidential matters
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Comprehensive knowledge of management principles
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills
- Occasional travel to sites
